OUR MOSAICS
We supply the mosaics in easy to handle panels with a strong, flexible film facing

EUROPEAN QUALITY
Our mosaics are made in Europe using a dust pressing method from porcelain clays. These very durable, water/frost proof tiles are fine grained, matt and smooth surfaced with a PEI rating of 4.
The mosaics have square edges and are made and sheeted by us in our Cornish workshop
READY TO LAY MOSAIC PANELS
Many of the designs are sheeted as panels of 6 tiles x 6 tiles (30.5cm square) with a narrow 1 to 2mm grout joint. Rectangles & triangles are all hand cut in our workshop.

READY TO LAY BORDERS
Once the main pattern has been laid the border can be fitted. The border design is hand cut and sheeted by us & supplied in rectangular sections for easy handling and rapid fixing.
Diamond and zig-zag borders include individual film faced corner sections in the price. These corner sections further speed up the laying of the border around the main pattern.
The outer line of the border is supplied as whole tiles and will usually need to be cut to the required width by your tiler on site. Inner border lines are supplied sheeted as 2.5cm x 5cm rectangles if using the 5mm thickness tiles or 2.5cm x 15cm rectangles if using the 9mm thickness tiles.

Sizes
Chequer is 5x5cm square @ 5mm thick or 5x5cm @ 9mm thick Border rectangles are 15x2.5cm in 9mm thickness or 5x2.5cm in 5mm thickness tiles
5mm thickness black border rectangles compared to 9mm thick border rectangle. The only difference between the two thicknesses is that a long border rectangle is possible with the thicker tiles.
Fitting guidelines for laying the mosaic pathways and hallways based on thirty years experience on site. Whether using the 5mm or 9mm thickness tiles the same principles apply.
